The application process
Dates and deadlines that are important to know about when applying for student accommodation.
We want as many students as possible to be able to live safely and affordably. We therefore allocate student housings as soon as we get one available. We have fixed application deadlines and dates which ensure that the distribution of student accommodation is as fair as possible for everyone.
Student housing in August
We prioritize the youngest applicants and those who need special considerations in the first instance. Second, the application date will determine you your place in the housing queue. This means that it is wise to apply as early as possible.
If it turns out that you did not get in the study place you applied for, you can cancel your housing contract by the 23rd of July if you attach documentation about this.
We will open the queue for August applications as early as possible after the New Year.
The Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (NUCAS) opens for applications to the campuses.
If you are applying for housing and should be prioritized on a special basis, this must be documented. In order for us to be able to consider your application first in line, we need to have received your documentation no later than 5th of May.

You have been granted student housing
Your contract will be sent out by email, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on your inbox and spam. Remember to sign within the short deadline.

Unfortunately, in August we do not offer a change of room. But the rest of the year you may have the opportunity, as far as vacancy allows for it.
