Externship in Bergen

Externship is a job shadowing program where students in Bergen can visit a company for 2-3 days during a semester.

The program gives an opportunity to gain better insight into working life after graduation. Get an impression on how a normal working day looks like, and find out if your knowledge and competence fits here.

Preparation seminar (one afternoon, February 20th or 21st) Job Shadowing (2-3 days during March/April) Debrief seminar (one afternoon, May 6th or 7th)

Students at every level can participate.

You don't need to be native Norwegian, but be fluent enough to be able to conduct the interview, preparation seminar end debrief seminar in Norwegian.

We open for applications January 22nd at 12.00.

We allocate students to companies continously, so apply sooner rather than later.

In the application form you choose which company you would like to shadow, and write a short motivational letter. This can be written in English, but let us know your level of Norwegian skills.

We match student and company continously, based on the student's and company's profiles. If you are relevant for a position, we will invite you to a short, digital interview. Everyone that is given a position, will participate at the preparation seminar (mandatory). Days for the job shadowing will be arranged directly with the company.

If you didn't make it this time, don't worry! You can apply again next semester, in August. Remember that it's smart to apply early😊
