Mailbox
You can find the mail boxes in the entrance. CD has the boxes in the laundry. The mailboxes for the R block are in the S block.

Fantoft Familieboliger has its mailboxes on the 1st floor of the L building, and uses the house key as a mailbox key.

If you live in our family homes at Fantoft, you will receive an electricity bill directly from the electricity supplier. The invoice includes your own consumption and everything that is shared.

👉PS: The heat for your apartment actually comes from an incineration plant in Rådalen!

We have a fixed price for electricity, which includes both your own consumption and everything that is shared. You will receive the electricity bill together with the rent from Sammen.

The student homes at Fantoft are furnished with a bed, desk, chair and closet.

Residual waste, plastic and cardboard/paper are thrown into the shafts by the light rail. In the recycling room under the mail house you can sort glass, metal, electrical waste, batteries etc ♻️

As a resident with us, you will be given priority for a kindergarten at Sammen Barnehage. And if you have children in our kindergartens, you will be given priority for student housing.

From the fall of 2026 we will have one kindergarten in Fantoft: Sammen Fantoft kindergarten. Fantoft kindergarten has places available as of now and in the fall of 2026.

You can wash clothes at our laundry for an additional cost. The laundry can be found here:

You use the app "appWash" to pay, choose a machine, select a washing program and report errors.

The laundry has automatic detergent dosing with both regular detergent and wool detergent. If you prefer not to use our detergent, you can deselect detergent under “program settings” on the machine and place your own detergent directly in the machine together with your clothes. In the settings menu, you can also adjust the temperature, spin speed, and more. Our machines do not dispense fabric softener, so you will need to add that yourself if you want to use it.

At Fantoft, we have some parking spaces for those who live with us. If you want parking, you can apply via the contact form. Select Housing -> Rental Agreement -> Parking. At Fantoft, we only have a semester agreement for parking. If you need HC parking, please send an email to drift@sammen.no. Remember that the parking agreement for your car has to be renewed every semester. If you park your car and do not have an agreement or are parked incorrectly, you will unfortunately be fined by Aimo Park.

For those who want parking from the 1st of August, we open for applications on the 1st of July. We have a limited number of places, so we recommend that you apply early. The same applies to those who want parking from the 1st of January: we open for applications on the 1st of December.

MC
Motorcycles and mopeds park free of charge in their own spaces under the N block, and they do not need a bicycle sticker.

Bicycle
You can park your bicycle in the racks outside or inside the bicycle shed under the N building. Bicycles must be marked with a valid sticker which can be collected from your service centre. The sticker is valid for one year at a time and must be renewed every year, this is to have control over which bicycles are left behind and which bicycles are in use. Unmarked bikes will be removed.

We have several reuse rooms at Fantoft where you can leave things you no longer need or take with you something that others have left behind.

There are limited shelves in the commom storage room at Fantoft, but register your interest via our contact form.

Fantoft Familieboliger has storage in the basement, which you open with your house key.

Internet is free in all our residences. You have your own Telia router and your own network, and there is also free wireless internet in several of our common areas.

👉You must take a digital fire safety course before you can access the internet.

The AB block
The AB block has a common room by the reading room in B with a TV and sofas.

The EFGH block
The EFGH block has a common room on the first floor in F with, among other things, a TV, reading room, sofas etc.

Block R and S
Fantoft R and S have a roof top terrace with a common room just inside. In the common room you will find a TV, kitchen and sofas.

The residents themselves are responsible for keeping the common room tidy and clean.

Klubb Fantoft is a common room for everyone who lives at Fantoft. Here you can play billiards and table tennis, study, be with friends and join in lots of fun organized by the Tenants Union at Fantoft. You can e.g. dance the night away at the silent disco, join a quiz or watch a good movie.

At Fantoft there is a music room under the M block. Here you will find a piano, electric drum kit and guitars. There is also a small kitchen there with a microwave, and a sofa group. To get access to the music room, you must register your tag at the Service Center the first time.

Link to form where you can book time in the music room. If you are using a mobile you will need to download Google Sheets to be able to edit. NB. The room can not be booked/used outside opening hours.

There is also a group chat for the music room in WhatsApp (not organized by Sammen) to better communicate with the other users of the room.

Please take good care of the room and all the instruments and leave the room as you would like to find it. Please register a case to the janitor from My Page if anything is missing or broken.

There are two reading rooms for residents living in A and B.

The EFGH block
Those who live in this block can read in the inner part of common room in block F, or in the reading rooms on the first floor.

TU (the Tenants Union) works to ensure that the students have as much fun as possible while living at Fantoft. They organize parties and happenings where everyone is welcome. They also have board games, pool tables, table tennis and other games at Klubb Fantoft that everyone can use.
